Our client is a very fast-growing and highly successful company in the email hosting industry. Due to this tremendous growth a dedicated Linux Systems Administrator is needed.
Person must be a Linux guru and will be counted on to be the firms’ subject matter expert for Linux issues. Candidate will be responsible for providing ongoing software installs, upgrades and maintenance. They will also assist in the development for various Linux applications in a large multi-server environment.
Ideal candidate will be productive with most of the scripting tools and languages and will help build many customized mail and security based applications…MUST be comfortable at the kernel level.
Big plus would be hosting and high availability environments.
Location is in the Blue Ridge Mountains of SW Virginia in an area considered to be very desired for quality of life and cost of living by prominent publications. Excellent pay and benefits and a fun work environment.
