Rezult continues to make great strides toward enhancing the technology services community nationwide. We are consistently looking for qualified professionals to join us in achieving success. Currently we are searching for a AIX Administrator to fulfill an immediate vacancy.
This individual will be responsible for providing primary support and maintenance of AIX, operating systems and network connectivity for all IBM pSeries. Monitor system performance on a daily basis to ensure adequate response times on production systems. Monitor AIX tape backups using TSM. Establish and document procedures to insure data integrity including system fail-over and backup/recovery. Maintain and update operating systems as required. Perform shell and Perl scripting as needed to support integration and automation as necessary. Provide support and maintenance of an IBM SAN disk solution for the SAP environment.
We are actively speaking with applicants that have a minimum of 4 years of experience working as a AIX/Unix Admin. Experience working with pSeries Servers, experience with HACMP, and Tivoli Storage.
