|
This is a permanent position that requires a Linux Administrator with significant experience in this OS as well as a true “love” of this software. Debian would be preferred but Gentoo or Ubuntu, or Fedora, or Suse or of course RedHat would be fine.
You should have a good foundation in IP and practical experience in networking devices and Linux tools. In addition you should have hands-on experience with perl or shell scripting. Experience with Apache, daemon tools, gmail, and tripwire would be viewed positively. Knowledge of source control and configuration management would be desirable. You should be an effective communicator and a computer science/mathematics/EE degree or equivalent experience is required.
You should be analytical, open-minded and interested in learning. This is an excellent growth opportunity on a wonderful LINUX team for the right person.
