Do you thrive on running networks at peak efficiency/uptime via monitoring, preventative maintenance and outage mitigation? Do you want to work for a company that empowers you to directly resolve problems while effectively communicating complex issues to vendors and internal engineering teams?
We are looking for a motivated individual who is interested in supporting a diverse and cutting-edge service. This is a challenging position that combines Unix (Solaris and Linux) administration, network administration, script writing/debugging as well as exposure to complex VoIP and TDM networks. You will be joining a high-energy company and a team of very dedicated individuals working one of five shifts that are eight or twelve hours in length.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
* 1 - 3 Years Unix/Linux administration
* A firm understanding of TCP/IP networks
* Understand, create, and debug shell and Perl/CGI scripts
* Highly focused attention to detail
* Ability to troubleshoot in a highly complex environment
* Thrive on taking ownership of issues and tenaciously pursue resolutions to those
issues
* Effectively disseminate information and communicate with all team members
* Must be self motivated and continually providing feedback to improve the entire network.
